LEAD GUITARIST

Stephen is our Lead Guitarist. He has this to say about himself:

 

Having had a deep passion for music since childhood it has ended up playing too large a part in my life to be normal or healthy. Playing in bands, writing and recording music has literally become an obsession.

I was invited to join The Ska’s at the end of 2019 after having dep’ed for them earlier in that year. Little did I know what I was letting myself in for. The Ska fans that come to see us have been incredibly warm and welcoming. The fantastic music of the late 70’s and early 80’s UK pop scene was and continues to be a huge influence on me so it feels like coming home to play the music of The Specials, Selector , The Beat etc. Long may it continue.
